The Longhill Contracting Story

Longhill Contracting is a trusted and fully licensed subcontractor for residential and commercial properties in Denver. We offer a range of subcontractor services geared towards renovation and repair.

Installing drywall correctly is a rugged job, though you wouldn’t know it by looking at the clean lines and freshly painted surfaces of brand new walls. When it’s done right, the tough work of hanging sheets of drywall, and getting all the angles right is hidden behind smooth and beautiful finishes.

Whether you’re building a space from the ground up, or refreshing an existing interior, the right drywall contractor puts a face to the space. We pride ourselves on making that face pristine and perfect, no matter what.

The stereotype about any type of subcontractor is that we are lazy and unreliable, always blaming others for problems and delays.

You won’t find that type of attitude at Longhill Contracting.

In fact, we go so far as to correct the mistakes made by other subcontractors when and where we can, just to ensure a 100% wonderful customer experience.

Being a local business, our understanding of the needs of Denver properties is second to none. We know what materials to use, what solutions to offer, and how to make property owners happy.

Our teams of commercial and residential subcontractors have extensive experience when it comes to the range of services we offer including wood fencing, interior and exterior painting, gutter and drywall installation, and spray foam insulation. This means customers will always be satisfied with our work.

We are responsive, caring and we don’t point fingers. Our commitment to our customer’s satisfaction is our number one motivator.

He is proud to employ 18 full time staff as well as nearly 100 subcontractors in the Denver Metro area. From production teams to builders, patchers and office staff, Jesus Montelongo considers his people to be more than workers – they are family.

However, the path to success wasn’t paved with roses. When he started Longhill Contracting at the tender age of 26, he got into residential drywall installation because he thought it would be a good way to make decent money.

He quickly found out it wasn’t that easy. Construction is a hard business, and clients, understandably are often frustrated and stressed out when they are going through a new build or a remodel – especially in a residential context.
